Peter Harwin is a Managing Member at Fairmount Funds Management LLC, a healthcare investment firm he co-founded in April 2016. Prior to Fairmount, Mr. Harwin was a member of the investment team at Boxer Capital, LLC, part of the Tavistock Group, based in San Diego.

Mr. Harwin serves as chairman of the board of directors of Cogent Biosciences, Inc. and is a director for Apogee Therapeutics, Inc., Oruka Therapeutics, Inc. and Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. He is also a director of Paragon Therapeutics, Inc. He holds a B.B.A. from Emory University.
